Do you want to work for yourself, many people do. If you don't have the idea but you do have the drive needed then franchising maybe the answer.
So what is a franchise? It enables you to buy in to a business, get support, advice and probably a brand name. A franchisor is the person or company that is licensing the business to the franchisee. Each franchise business will be owned and operated by the franchisee but the franchiser will take a keen interest in the business.
Buying in to a franchise often means that you can buy in to a proven business model. This means that once that your finances are in place you can get a business up and running very quickly.
Many franchise businesses can be run from home. I would always recommend taking advice before signing up for any business. You must do your homework. Get some financial advice, talk to your bank, talk to your local authority if you intend working from home and then research the business fully.
